Board Appointments
The Minister for Local Government, Jim McMahon MP, on behalf of the Deputy Prime Minister, has appointed Sarah Guerra, Joanne Hadley , Chiew Yin Jones, Clive Quantrill, and Kevin Sadler to the Board of the Valuation Tribunal Service for terms of three years, commencing on 2 December 2024.
I am delighted to welcome our new Board Members. Chew Yin Jones and Joanne Hadley join us as senior members of the Valuation Tribunal for England (VTE), which we administer. Kevin brings with him experience of the wider tribunal world and Clive from the commercial world.
We very much look forward to working with them.

The Judicial Appointments Commission have been asked to identify candidates to recommend for the posts of Fee-paid Valuer Chairmen and Fee-paid Valuer Members of the First-tier Tribunal, Residential Property Tribunal. These roles are open to chartered surveyors who are members of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors. This is an excellent opportunity to sit on a wide variety of interesting cases dealing with applications, appeals and references relating to disputes over property and land (with Chairmen drafting the final tribunal decision).
